W. B. Greeson
W. B. Greeson was elected to Barney's council on December 15, 1911. The Atlanta Semi-Weekly Journal named him among the five councilmen elected with Mayor W. E. Hiers. The report gives his initials, not his full name.
Land records help place him in town. A 1912 deed describing the Hodges–Folsom tract names W. B. Greeson as its western neighbor. Later deed notes also identify Greeson beside property near Main Street. These boundary references establish a local property connection, but they do not show how he acquired his land or what occupation he followed.
Two 1915 newspaper notices may provide the missing family link. Preserved newspaper text identifies Henry King of Pitts as a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Greeson. Another notice identifies visitors provisionally read as Floy, Ralph, and Cliff Titshaw as their grandchildren. The original newspaper images still need checking before those names are used to reconstruct the family.
County deed indexes later name William B. Greeson. He may have been the councilman, but no inspected personal record yet joins the expanded name to the Barney official. For now, W. B. Greeson is the supported name. His wife's name, parents, dates of birth and death, occupation, and subsequent council service remain unresolved.
